Comments: My father, Eric, was married to Elizabeth, Jerry's wife and my beloved step-mother. I only met Jerry on a few occasions but I remember him as charming and his art as very vibrant. He was exciting and seemed a littler dangerous to me - maybe because all artists seemed removed from real life at that time in my life. This site reflects those emotions still. I belatedly send my love to my step-siblings. Muffie

Comments: Jerry was a generous, gifted, fascinating man. He seemed to have made exactly the life he wanted. I enjoyed spending time with him in the past few years, and am very saddened by his passing. I admired him, and I will miss him.

Comments: Mark, I have only just found out today that Jerry passed away. Although I have not seen him since leaving Acworth, I have always carried the knowing of him in my heart, and remembered time spent with him as special.
I think my favorite painting of Jerry's was of a rocking chair, with crayoned drawings on the floor beside it. It was named, "Mark's Work," and was just that.
Condolences to you, Mark, and to your brothers, Leslie, and also Gretchen.

Comments: Jerry was always teaching me. He had the ability to see the gold in people and made me feel that I had great gifts and the struggle to create was worth it. His gentle nature was always so comforting to me and his search for greater vision inspiring. He was my dearest friend and I feel so blessed that we met and got to know one another. The designs on my heart will be forever etched by Jerry's love and influence and I'm sure will find their way into my drawings and paintings. His spirit will always be with me.

Comments: I first met Jerry as a seeker of all things extraordinary. He had a lively mind, a loving heart, and, of course, talented hands.
The world would surely be a better place if more people could live from his example.
